Dr Marcus Sims began his career working as a basic EMT with Lake Jackson EMS, Clute EMS, Central EMS and Sweeny EMS.  Dr Sims then attended Stephen F Austin State University obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in combined sciences and mathematics.  After obtaining his bachelors degree he attended University of North Texas-Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine obtaining his Osteopathic Medical Degree.  He then proceeded to complete an Emergency Medicine residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center- Houston leading him to become board certified in Emergency Medicine.  Dr Sims has worked throughout the Houston metroplex.  He is currently an Associate Medical Director for CHI St Luke’s Health-Sugar Land.  Dr Sims also currently serves on the Texas College of Emergency Physicians board of directors.  In Dr Sims’ free time he enjoys spending time with his wife and four boys, flying, and fishing.
